The Word on the Street
is that the Flint Schools are in discussions to form a new conference that will include Flint Northern and Flint Southwestern
from the Saginaw Valley League. The proposed League would also include the remaining Big-9 schools of Flint Powers,
Davison, Flushing and Flint Carman-Ainsworth...stay tune for more details.

Dow’s Becca Mills has given a verbal commitment to play basketball for Michigan
State University. The 6’3 Class of 2011 Center earned Class A All-State honors after averaging 14 points, 8 rebounds
and 3 blocks.
